Birthday Yoga Party

Well, I have proudly turned 45. I had a party on Park Point at the Lafayette Club for my birthday. What a great thing! We yoga-ed with Wendy as our lovely teacher and then we ate and had some wine, with Gregg as our lovely chef.

About Thai Bodywork

Thai Yoga Bodywork is based on the Northern Style of Traditional Thai Massage, otherwise known as Nuad Boran. It is an ancient sacred healing art dating back 2,500 years that integrates Ayurveda, Massage and Yoga. During a session you will experience rhythmic massage, deep stretching, assisted Yoga poses and acupressure along the Thai Meridians known as Sen Lines. I also incorporate some energy work, focusing on the chakras and some work from Healing Touch.

I have been studying Thai Yoga Bodywork since 2004 with Jonas Westring of Vermont and more recently have been studying under Tanya Boigenzahn Sowards of Minneapolis. I have completed over 200 hours of training and am certified with THAI (a professional Thai Org) as a Registered Thai Therapist.

What is a Typical Session Like?
A typical Thai Yoga session lasts anywhere from one to two hours. Recipients lie clothed in loose comfortable clothing on a futon designed for Thai Massage. You can expect to focus on breathwork and be moved into a series of postures. You will feel deep stretches as well as specific point work. The overall intention is to bring balance to the body, mind and spirit so that energy may flow more freely. You will feel energized and open at the finish of the session.

Muggy Moose Massage is located downtown Duluth in the Hunter Building. I specialize in Thai Yoga Bodywork, Partner Yoga, Deep Tissue, Sports, Relaxation, Pregnancy and Swedish Massage.

Rates are as follows:
$75/ sixty minute massage
$105/ ninety minute massage
$140/two hour massage

$85/ sixty minutes thai bodywork
$125/ ninety minutes thai bodywork
$155/ two hours thai bodywork
